The Friends of the World Association has been awarded the ”Pro Publico Bono„ medal, named after Sabina Nowicka. The award was given to our association during the special ceremony in the Grand Theatre in Łódź on the 27 of March 2014. ”Pro Publico Bono” medal was established by the Association of Friends of the city of Łódź in 2007 to honour people who have special achievements for the Polish culture and the city of Łódź itself. It is meant to express the appreciation for the artists, writers, journalists and social workers who are perceived as the ones who, acting in agreement with the idea Pro Publico Bono, have influenced the reality, whose creativity has already changed the world around, and left the visible sign on our planet – the Earth.
