On 30.05.2017 the rehabilitation equipment was officially given to the institutions. The equipment was purchased thanks to the funds collected during the last year’s 8th Edition of the Charity Dinner “Friends Cook” authored by Ewa Wachowicz. “Friends of the World” Association has purchased the most advanced portable medical analyzer for the measurement of electrolytes and metabolites (the assessment of patient’s critical parameters), which was delivered to the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy of the Brothers Hospitallers of St. John of God in Lodz. The small analyzer is placed where every minute counts. When thanking for the received analyzer, the Head of the Intensive Care Department, Dr. Małgorzata Olszewska-Kozińska, stressed that this small state-of-the-art device will definitely help save numerous patients. Additionally, “Friends of the World” donated rehabilitation equipment to the Dr. Wacław Łęcki Rehabilitation Center in Lodz, namely, exercise station, physiotherapy devices, pain relief devices, as well as devices for the improvement of physical state and kinesiotherapy equipment.
