The AMICUS statuette is a special prize awarded by the Friends of the World Association to those who through their sensitivity and readiness to help others especially supported our organisation. It is an expression of gratitude and admiration for the people who cultivate humanistic values and meet the needs of the poor, the sick and needy with an open mind and heart.
The Amicus winners are famous people, who without hesitation share some of their fame with us by creating designs for us and giving autographs.
Thanks to them we can gather resources for the needs of those who are covered with our Association’s activities.
Handing this award is a great emotion and satisfaction, because we know that people in need are not left on their own, when there are Friend around.
