On November 20, 2013, at the Special School Complex No. 7 in Łódź at ul. Siarczana 29/35, a ceremonial handover of a speech training kit using the method of Prof. Alfred Tomatis took place.
This method supports the development of speech, hearing, concentration and memory, and also supports speech therapy, sensory integration, rehabilitation and corrective gymnastics.
The equipment worth PLN 90,000 was purchased by the Association “Friends of the World” from funds raised during the 4th edition of the Charity Dinner “Friends Cook – PolanA Smaków” and from donations.
Andrzej Polan, a renowned chef, took part in this magical day, whose commitment and open heart contributed to the achievement of this goal.
The event was full of emotions – the children prepared an artistic program, and the atmosphere was full of warmth and gratitude. As Andrzej Polan said: “the rainy and sad autumn days run away!”
