On Saturday, May 11, 2024, the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Łódź hosted a unique charity ball “Cuban Rhythms with Jose Torres & Havana Dreams”, organized by the “Friends of the World” Association in cooperation with the “Heart for Hearts” Foundation.
The host of the evening and special guest was actress Ela Romanowska, who also led the charity auction with great commitment. The audience had fun with live music performed by Jose Torres & Havana Dreams.

The funds raised during the evening were used for:
❤️ purchase of a specialized EEG device for the child psychiatry departments at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Medical University of Łódź,
❤️ support for the Occupational Therapy Workshops in Pabianice,
❤️ additional equipment for the child psychiatry department at the J. Babiński Hospital in Łódź.
During the evening, the following items were auctioned:
a photo with an autograph from Iga Świątek,
a painting by Ryszard Bilan,
a golf course package at City Golf Łódź.
The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Mayor of Łódź, Hanna Zdanowska. Thanks to the generosity of guests and sponsors, funds were raised that will really improve the treatment conditions of the youngest patients.
