On the last Saturday of the carnival, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Łódź hosted the Charity Ball at Friends Edition II. The evening was filled with Latin rhythms thanks to José Torres and the Havana Dreams band, who got the guests dancing with their lively music and Cuban temperament.
Dancers from the Torres Salsa Group joined in the fun, as well as a Cuban DJ and dance animators, who gave the event a unique atmosphere.
During the ball, funds were raised to support transplantology in Łódź, including family transplants performed at the Departments of Nephrology, Dialysis and General and Transplant Surgery of the N. Barlicki Hospital. The funds were also intended to equip the Dr. Wacław Łęcki Medical Center and support the rehabilitation of patients with neurological disorders.
